Product description:

The Wetting Agent functions as a wetting agent when used in water in oil emulsion, the product oil-wets barite and drill solids to prevent water-wet solids; it improves rheological stability and emulsion stability; reduce rheological properties, and it improves the fluid's resistance to contamination. Can achieve optimum application in high weight system.

Applications/functions: 

• Helps form stable water-in-oil emulsions or all oil system.

• Promote oil-wetting in invert emulsion systems.

• Improves water contamination-resistance of an oil mud.

• Helps reduce the force between particles in ultra-high-density system

Advantages: 

• Can be added directly to the system

• Improve to be more pumpable

• Thermally stable at temperatures greater than200ºC(392ºF)

Recommended treatment: 

• For normal applications, add 5-10kg/m3(1.75-3.50lb/bbl)

• Recommended addition of 10-15kg/m3(3.50-5.25lb/bbl)when dealing with the event of water & drilling solids contamination.

Packaging: 

• SCETWET Wetting agent is packed in 55-gal (208-l) drums and in bulk

• Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Store away from incompatibles.

• Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and/or stacking.
