Product description:

SCETTROL functions as fluid loss reducer, is a kind of humic acid & resin with excellent lipophilicity, can act as a lipophilic colloid to make the water-in-oil emulsion more stable. It can be effectively adsorbed on the surface of the clay, making it difficult to coalesce with each other, help to form a compact filter cake, reduce the filtration.

Applications/functions: 

• Minimize filtration loss of the system.

• Improve emulsion stability.

• Improves thermal stability.

Advantages: 

• Can be added directly to the system

• Good compatibility with other components

• Thermally stable at temperatures greater than200ºC(392ºF)

Typical properties: 

• Appearance: Grey to black powder

• Bulk Density: 500-700kg/m3(31.2-43.7 lbs/ft3)

Recommended treatment: 

• For normal applications, add 40-75kg/m3(14.00-26.25lb/bbl, with occasional daily treatments, depending on the properties desired and other components in the system.

• Can be premixed and diluted to system, or directly added to system.

Packaging: 

• SCETTROL is packaged in 50-lb (22.7-kg), multi-wall, paper sacks.

• Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Store away from incompatibles.

• Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and/or stacking.
